LEAPS Suffolk offers Holiday Clubs on certain days throughout the school holidays for children and young people aged 4+ with mild to moderate additional needs e.g Autism, GDD, ADHD, FAS, Down Syndrome etc.
We aim to offer 2-3 days per half term and a minimum of 14 dates over the Summer Holidays. The session lasts approximately 6 hours, however we also offer half day sessions, as we appreciate for some people a day may be too long.
There are lots of different activities on offer such as, crafts, music, dancing, table tennis, air hockey, puppets, construction such as Lego, marble runs, cooking, a variety of games, small world, sensory play etc. and that is just inside! We have access to two large outdoor areas, with a trampoline, climbing equipment, swings, team games, basketball, football or just having some time to relax. We also use the gym for games and obstacle courses.
There is no pressure to take part in activities, we recognise that the children and young people who join us just want to have fun.
We follow an individuals interests where possible and try to extend on this by introducing new experiences. We are an IT free zone!
Snack is provided at our sessions and we can cater for gluten free and other preferences, allergies, or intolerances.
We can administer certain medication, this will be discussed when the initial registration form is returned
We operate using a tier system. This ensures that every individual receives support when they need it. Please see our Fees Policy for how this works, the cost, payment and cancellation procedures.
