About Us

LEAPS Suffolk was established in 2018 and is a not-for-profit company offering a variety of different out of school clubs, activities and events for children and young people age 5 - 25 years with mild to moderate additional needs.

Since 2018 we have continued to grow. Initially starting with just Saturday Clubs, we have now expanded to include Holiday Clubs and community-based activities through our Out, Not In! Project.

We are an Ofsted registered provision based in the south area of Ipswich, but we have families who travel from Bury St Edmunds, Felixstowe and Martlesham area.

As we are a not-for-profit organisation we rely on grants to deliver our clubs and activities. Our profit goes back into our organisation, which allows us to continue offering different experiences for our attendees and their families.
LEAPS Suffolk has a friendly and dedicated team of professionals. Most of the team have or are studying towards a Level 3 - Level 6 (BA Hons) in a relevant subject e.g Childcare, psychology, early years, teaching assistant, health and social care and special educational needs and disabilities. We also keep up to date with Paediatric First Aid, First Aid at Work, Safeguarding, EpiPen/Jext training, Food hygiene, manual handling and Prevent training.
